EXPERIMENT WEAVE
What happens when young people are supplied with rigid heddle looms and given free rein to shape, create and curate an exhibition? Well, that’s what Kultur in Halland – Craft wanted to find out!
A small group of young people from Halland, aged 13 to 25, were therefore assigned the task. The exhibition will only be shown at the Fair, when the public will also be able to meet some of the makers there to talk about what they have woven.

FREE TIME IS TIME FOR MAKING
What is the Convention on the Rights of the Child? And what might a football team be doing with craft? For the conference on Free Time = Time for Making, Kultur i Halland – Slöjd invited in reps from a range of projects with the focus on children and young people to attend a day conference that was then filmed so that others could have the benefit of good examples geared towards children and young people.
